I have had artistic gifts all of my life.  Since I was real young I have been drawing and have worked with different mediums. Last summer-2008-I had a special visitor up to visit us at Goat Peak who was into watercolor and ink art.  She did a couple paintings of the lookout and myself when a lightning storm was happening.  I seen what she was doing and told her I was into art myself but never worked with watercolor and ink before but would like to try it.  She ended up revisiting me later on with art supplies and  I`m now having alot of fun using a talent I was not using. I would like to thank Maria Coryell Martin for her help in getting me going again.

Now for Photography, I also always had an eye and for it and in 1980 I got a Nice camera for Christmas only to have it stolen a year later. It wasn`t until 2006 that I bought a digital camera and since then have gotten some great shots. I have been working Fire lookouts for a good twenty years now and have not one picture of lightning. I`m now saving up to get a nice lightning shot camera.

Ok, now that I`m getting my artistic talents together, I have came up with an idea to share them with you by creating gifts and keep sakes that you can puchase on my on line store at Zazzle. It is called Lightning Bill Arts and you can link to it by the SHOP link or QUICK links on my home page. Even if your not into shopping you are more than welcome to browse my Zazzle Gallery.  It is changing all the time just like this web site is so do visit once in awhile.
